Blog Update
I seem to have rather suddenly got to 4 months without a post on my blog. So, what have I been doing for the last few months?
- Spent four months working at a bank. Didn’t really achieve much because with acquisitions and restructuring the project goal when I finished was the exact opposite of when I started.
- Delayed launching TwoNeeds and CardCoded a few times. I’ll get back to it one of these days
- Spent a couple of months in Thailand – leaving town for more than a couple of weeks isn’t so easy when there’s lots of well paid work available. Finding new consulting work in January is difficult at the best of times, so I’m taking advantage of the unexpected break.
- Started work on setting up a new SharePoint consultancy – some of the stuff I’ve had to deal with over the past year or so leads me to believe I can do well with a model other than the usual daily rate contracts.
- Started (and almost finished) developing a browser based notebook application because none of the existing ones I could find really worked for me. More on that one soon…
